 G. K. Chesterton: “The dignity of the artist lies in his duty of
keeping awake the sense of wonder in the world.”

Photography for me is a means of expression. A way to communicate emotions and ideas . As I move through the world I'm often struck by enigmatic, emotional or visually interesting situations. I try to capture these moments in photographs and then "show and tell". If my images touch someone emotionally, or fires their imagination, or even just causes a second look.... I'm happy!

Although I've had hundreds of hours of seminars, workshops and formal education, I am largely self trained. The most valuable part of my learning is by following my Grandma's advice, "Get around the kind of people that you want to become like". I am forever grateful to the many generous mentors that have taken the time to selflessly try to enlighten me.
