Helen Gruelle Hunter - Studio #5

Although I paint a variety of subjects, my first love is water. I see water splashing on a rock, or I stand in the warm water as it rushes over the sand leaving ever-changing patterns. It feeds my soul, and I want to paint it.

As a representational painter, I want to paint not only truthful and technically accurate paintings, but my personal response to them, as well as perhaps a reflection of the greatness of the God Who created it all.
